Jim is the Director of Professional Services at Anaconda where he works with commercial and government clients to improve Python software for visualizing and analyzing large and complex datasets. He holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas, along with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Philosophy. He has published more than 50 papers and books about the visual system and software development and founded the HoloViz.org ecosystem of open-source Python tools for data visualization.
