Dan Yeaw

Dan Yeaw is Engineering Manager for Open Source Software at Anaconda, where he leads teams developing critical OSS projects including conda, BeeWare, PyScript, Jupyter, and fsspec. For seven years, he has been a dedicated contributor to open source projects and a key leader in building Michigan’s Python community through organizing and advocacy efforts. Dan brings a unique background to his role, having previously served as Senior Manager for Functional Safety at Ford Motor Company and as a Naval Officer. He is passionate about democratizing programming and fostering thriving open source communities.
